Children’s Picture Book Narrated by the Author
It’s nice to read with children. In the following video I read Kangaroo Kangaroo Where Are You. I hope you watch it. There is a lighthearted joke at the very end of this video. The music on that section is an excerpt of ‘Mars’ from Planets by Gustav Holtz. The joke is intended for parents, there is enough time to stop the video after the end of the book, in case you think the music might not be to your child’s liking!
Here’s an excerpt of Kangaroo, Kangaroo, Where Are You?
Kangaroo, Kangaroo, where are you?
Not too far, Not too far, I am very near.
You don’t have to ride a car, you can walk to here.
Kangaroo, Kangaroo, what can you see?
Blue sky, blue sky, tall, tall trees.
I can see a butterfly and yellow bumblebees…
Kangaroo, Kangaroo, what can you do?
I can hop, I can hop, that is how I run.
When I hop, when I hop, I have lots of fun.
